Travelling to Willowbank

You may reach Willowbank from the end of the M57/M58 motorways by following the A5036 and A5207 signposted Thornton for 3 miles. This meets the A565 which should be followed for 8 miles in the direction of Southport. After RAF, Woodvale which will be to the left, proceed to the traffic lights where it will be possible to turn left into the Coastal Road. Willowbank is situated 150 metres on the left.

From Preston travel South on the A59 to its' junction with the A565 at Tarleton. Stay on the A565 travelling through the centre of Southport and Ainsdale to the Woodvale traffic lights and turn right into the Coastal Road. Willowbank is situated 150 metres on the left. Alternatively, it is possible to by-pass Southport by taking the Coastal Road from the A565 at the traffic island at the Plough Inn, in which case Willowbank will be seen on the right just before the traffic lights at the end of the Coastal Road.
